Lots of sizzle, not much steak

A better movie for kids than for adult fans of the franchise. Plenty of action, but an extremely basic plot. Predictable buddy-buddy shennanigans between Anakin and his apprentice undermine the bold idea of giving him one. Has all the weaknesses of the prequel trilogy in terms of dialogue and pacing, and "Anakin" doesn't seem very Anakin-like. Too nice, not cocky or hot-tempered enough. The best thing I can say about Clone Wars overall is it may get kids who don't know or care about the SW franchise interested in it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
