Great special effects and storyline

After loving this movie in the '80's...we've been waiting for years for this movie to come out and live up to the hype. The way they continued the storyline was perfect and you could totally understand what happened in the first movie even if you've never seen it like our son hadn't.
The special effects during the light cycle games were amazing...all the actors did a great job. We did not see this in 3-D only regular 2-D and it was awesome. Tron is back and well worth the wait..THANKS DISNEY!!!

Who knew I would love Gru?

I had no idea I would love this movie. I was hoping my sister would take my son to see this movie but I was literally dragged to see it.
I LOVED it!!! It was funny, touching and had a great message. The minions are hilarious even though NBC is making them annoying!
Not quite Toy Story 3 but close...I did get tears in my eyes at the ending.

OK movie too many snakes!

I was expecting a little more then what it was but the movie was just OK. My 10yro LOVED it and I got to look at a VERY hot Jake Gyllenhaal for 2 hours so that made me happy.
The action scenes went by WAY TO FAST...you couldn't really tell what was happening, would have been better to slow down a bit so we could see more action detail. I also don't get all the snakes...I couldn't even watch any of the snake scenes. I don't really think this will win any awards but again my 10yro was happy.
It's nothing compared to Pirates but then again nothing compares to Johnny Depp!

Hot, Exciting and Fun!

This movie was just as fun as the first! Loved that Jon Favreau gave himself more screen time and loved the references to upcoming Avengers movies. The movie was perfectly cast. I am not a Scarlett J. fan at all but she was perfect in her role. I have to see this movie again b/c I spent a lot of time simply drooling over Robert Downey Jr.

Denzel, Denzel, Denzel...what a movie!!! Aside from the overuse of F-bombs in this movie...I can't wait to see it again!! Great start, middle and ending...WOW what an ending!! Powerful, original and thought provoking...GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!
Please remember that it is an R movie...there were 5 very small little girls in the movie theatre and that was making my stomach turn that those parents made those girls watch this movie!! The girl closest to me was begging her parents to get her out of there!! Not for kids at all!!! Great movie...GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!

Best movie we've seen all year!

Love the story, LOVE the music, the setting everything was just perfect! My 10 year old son was only 1 of 2 boys in the packed theatre but that was OK...it is perfectly balanced for boys and girls and people of ALL ages! Can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

Great movie- Great Casting!

There are those who love this movie and those who hate it...my WHOLE family LOVED it! It was paced well, great story, great direction & WOW Robert Downey Jr. is fantastic! Our family ranged from 9 - 65 and all of us would see it again!!

Great movie but why so vulgar?

To the eye...this is an excellent movie. The special effects of the robots transforming and fighting is some of the best I have ever seen. BUT...the movie is full of un-necessary bad words and vulgar positioning of bodies. Why do we need to see Megan Fox practically humping a motorcycle? What does that have to do with the movie? We all know she is beautiful, but really? This movie is geared towards little boys who aren't ready to see that kind of image. It makes it uncomfortable for the parents as well. If they don't want little kids to see the movie...don't have happy meal toys from the movie!! Great movie for adults and kids over 13!!! Parents use your best judgment...go see it w/o the kids first.

Great movie for all ages!!

This movie has you from the moment your favorite prehistoric squirrel appears on screen. It has fantastic values and morals regarding family and friendships. Everyone was laughing and cheering for all the characters throughout the whole movie. Fathers were awake and kids stayed in their seats waiting to see what was going to happen next. That in itself says A LOT about a movie!! Great writing and an excellent continuation to the Ice Age story. Can't wait to see it again!!!
