My teenage daughter really wanted to see this when it came out and to be honest with you, it looked to me from the previews to be 'cute' at best and a rental. So got talked into going to see this opening day- and to my surprise, I actually liked it. It was clean, no potty talk- and it was a nice storyline. A little predictable, but still a fun movie. It was fun trying to guess what celebrity voices were doing the animals too. I liked it. Anything that doesn't have a crummy ending and lets me leave the theater with a good feeling is a definite thumbs up for me!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I would have to say that out of the trilogy- this one was the best one. Not only did it NOT have Megan Fox in it (who can't act her way out of a paper bag), but it actually had a plot. Not sure that I liked Patrick Dempsey in a sniveling role, but he's still a good actor so we'll leave it at that. I was surprised that Sentinel's voice was Leonard Nimoy- that knowledge now makes me want to go re-watch it to pick up on some of the Star Trek references they made. Go see this with an empty bladder!
I went into the theater with no great expectations (didn't want to be disappointed) and I came away from the theater HAPPY! One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is a good movie, but a crummy ending and this was good all around. I figured out Marcus' deal pretty early on, so that helped with following the movie. There were a few things that didn't add up but having that one-certain cameo (not going to give it away) near the end was a pretty good tie in to the other movies. Overall, I would not only recommend this movie to anyone and everyone I know, but I'd invite myself along with them to see it again. <wink>.
