This movie was excellent! The thing I noticed right away was that I was tense the whole time. Even when there was no action. Every performance was masterful, the direction was flawless, and the storyline was riveting. This is by far Heath Ledger's Magnum Opus.
Christian Bale has been one of my favorite actors ever since Swing Kids and he has definitely delivered another stunning performance. The same could be said for Michael Cane and Morgan Freeman who brought both wit and wisdom to the movie. Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhal both were new to this series but fit into their characters like a glove.
Chris Nolan has done it again! During Batman and Robin, I remember thinking "This is so bad, they almost have to make another one just to cancel this out"! Well, Nolan has definitely redeemed the franchise.
I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes action/crime movies. This one is up there with The Godfather.
Heath Ledger should win Oscar for his role! He was scary, funny, and insane! Bravo.
