Believe the hype

It's incredibly rare for movies to live up to their hype, especially when the hype starts so long before anyone has even seen the movie. The movie gets its buzz from something happening on set that has nothing to do with the quality of the actual movie (like the death of an actor), or because we all have blind faith in the writers/producers/actors/director. I braced myself for "Okay, it was good, but it wasn't THAT good." But yes, it really, really was!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
