Good start, great middle, satisfactory ending.....all make up a fulfilling movie experience. The characters were fully fleshed-out -- the Joker told us enough psychological background information for us to understand his sick brain. Ledger is well-qualified for the Oscar talk...Batman and Rachel and Harvey seemed to have the proper "motivation" for their characters.
It was a stretch to understand how the joker could have actually physically placed all those bombs................but it was fun to anticipate the blow-ups and such.
Great chase scenes!!! Excellent and multiple special effects.
Worth the time and the popcorn. :)
