An absolute juggernaut of a movie

I watched The Dark Knight with my wife this past weekend and I must say we both left speechless. Let me start by saying this ain't your dad's good,clean wholesome Adam West style Batman, cohorting around with the pasty-faced Joker whilst Batman and the boy Wonder find some goofy way to foil his G-rated mayhem. Heath Ledger's Joker is sheer evil and could care less about the people he hurts or the terror he creates. Usually I leave a superhero movie feeling confident that though fantasy the good guy always triumhs over evil. Not this flick!! The movie pulls no punches and spares no feelings . I found myself unable to leave the theater even for a minute to use the restroom. Heath Ledger is brilliant as the Joker and the all-star cast bring credibility to all the characters. A must see for the summer!!
