The Dark Knight continues where the previous installment leaves off. It continues with it's dark tone, and refines it where necessary to deliver a truly spectacular performance. A high edge of emotion, adrenaline, and visual effects pump through this movie from start to finish (It is 2 1/2 hours long so that's a testament to quality). Christian Bale lends a rock-solid aura to Batman, as the late Heath Ledger delivers a truly shocking and ominous performance as the joker. Rarely does a movie exhibit such acting talent, let alone a super hero movie. Ledgers chilling joker against Bales fearsome Batman makes for a visually and cognitively stunning movie performance. The movie was sold out 30 minutes after I purchased tickets, and such is well deserved.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
