The film had a few (and very far between) moments which were interesting. I wont go into details and spoil the film for those who WILL go watch it. I really like that they delved more into Freddy's past--that was interesting to see. The lead actor (JEH) I think was great in the role and gave the character (Freddy) more depth which was great. Another plus for me was Freddy's makeup--it was so much more believable to have him look burned. great makeup work w/him. Ok, moving on The rest of the cast, for me, seemed to play it too "middle of the road". Didn't love it, nor did I hate it. Perhaps it was the script that may have been the problem. If there was more for them to work with, then maybe it could have been a much better film. MAYBE.
It stayed as true to the book as it could. LOVED the movie theatre scene with Bella, Jacob and Mike. . The Volturri(Michael Sheen is perfect for Aro) were great though I half expected more screen time from them. The makeup and effects were clearly a hundred times better than the first film. Definitely going to see it again very soon!
By far the darkest of the Batman movies to date, and the best thus far. The acting was great, wonderful characters, and OMG the makup on the Joker and Two Face......WOW! Definitely a must see film.
