This is by far, Q T's best work since Pulp Fiction. From the start of the movie, the opening credits to the music, it had the feel of a 1940's type flick. Brad Pitt was hilarious as Aldo. Christoph Waltz was a mixture of creepy and somewhat funny with his trying to get an American saying right yet always messing it up. There were several tense moments in the movie but i was peppered with QT's usual type of humor to offset those moments. This was the most fun I had all year, nicely done
Again, this is my opinion, but this had shades of "The Package" w/Gene Hackman in it. I was totally engrossed in the movie. This is the kind of movie that makes/forces you to pay attention to see if you can pick up on all the little intricacies (sp) of the story. The only drawback was Naomi as the sidekick if you will. Clive did a great job in this movie. I was REALLY impressed with how well done it was. There were things that I certainly didn't see coming when they happened. I really liked this movie.
I liked the movie and was surprised at the nice pace. Quick action, witty dialogue and the graphics were outstanding, this sets up the tv show quite well. The only drawback per se was the introduction of Ziro the Hutt's voice, where the deuce did that come from? anyway, all in all, I really enjoyed this movie and cant wait for the show
This movie lived up too all of its hype and then some. Heath's performance as the Joker will go down in history as one of the top of all time, the pencil trick is eerie and I will not be able to look at pencil's the same way, :-). the only thing I didn't quite comprehend, was the whole sonar in Batman's eyes trick, I kind of had a hard time grasping that, but other than that, what a spectacular movie.
