While the movie was O.K., I really thought it would have included more of the book's details; I expected much more than I saw. There just wasn't enough magical action and the scenes didn't transition well from one to the other. It appeared as though the director focused on few high points (leaving out some key details and forcing the viewer to make assumptions) to create an ending that would get viewers to watch the next movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
