Back and Better than EVER

As an avid Batman fan I had very high expectations for this new age Batman. Most times I see that when someone trys to create sequels or new versions of a classic, it tends to dissappoint the TRUE fans that have been around since the beginning. Gotham City has envolved into a more mature and and even somewhat realistic place. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger were ASTOUNDING Actors to say the least. I was totally into every scene of the entire movie and believe me it was LONG. But worth every 2 1/2 hours in the front row of the theatre holding my head back to watch. I must say the one thing I was leary about was someone besides Jack Nicholson playing Joker. Well, Heath played the Joker perfectly. He gave the Joker modern day personality with classic Joker antics... Loved the performance! Also the Batmobile .... is by far the tightest ride I've ever seen on the big screen. Every part of action Batman was in made me want to be his Batwoman! It was a thrilling experience with a sort of naughty edge! Its a must see and definately Oscar worthy!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
