Not as good as I had hoped

I liked Batman Begins better than TDK, it was more in the spirit of comic book fantasy than this one. Heath Ledger was almost too good for this: his level of reality, of deep evil and of paranoid/schizophrenia was too real when compared with the comic book, two-dimensional portrayals of the other characters. Ledger was by far the best thing in the movie, but the gap he created by the others failing to reach his level of art was too glaring for me to give the movie much more than a 3-star rating. Also, too much computer-generated whiz-bang.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
