The Happening is not happening at least not for me. I was into the movie for the first 20 minutes or so and then it happens..the movie starts to unglue. What went wrong? If you have a strong theory about a certain subject, then why in the world would you have the actors do the opposite? A character should evolve with the story. At least the lead character learns something new along the way, well not in the movie. So great premise, bad storytelling. Great acting by Mark Wahlberg, unfortunately only by him.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Love Musicals like I do and have been feelin like Hollywood had been giving you the cold shoulder well stop feeling that way honey, this movie makes you laugh, sing, cry, sing, it makes you want to get up and dance with the adorable Meryl Streep and I am starting to fall in love with Amanda Seyfried, she is something to to keep your eyes peeled for. Pierce Brosnan is not only fierce as Bond but quite the croner, I had no idea he was so well rounded in his acting skills. For everyone else in the movie, they were a fantastic supporting group and I wish I could name them in this lil space and Abba Music, period. Please go see this movie and relax your gonna feel like you're on vacation.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
