I am a very strong critic of movies. I am usually disappointed with this genre of movie, but I was compelled to see it because of all the 'hype'. Within the first 10 minutes of this movie, I was already drawn in. Heath Ledger was disturbing (that is a compliment) and I felt uncomfortable during many parts of the movie (another compliment). I saw the movie early in the day, and I keep thinking about how great it was.
My only "fuss" about the movie was the accelerated transition of Harvey Dent into Two-Face.
I can't remember the last time I have enjoyed a movie this much. I would not recommend for young children, but this is a great adult action film with a dark look at human nature.
