I was skeptical with all the hype that preceded The Dark Knight's release, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great this movie was. It had an interesting story, and the interaction between all the key characters kept you wanting more. My biggest surprise was the portrayal of Joker by Heath Ledger. He really does deserve an Oscar bid for this character. He gave me no reason to think that he was anyone other than the Joker, it was incredible, you had no idea or hint that it was Heath Ledger under that make-up. My only criticism was that I wanted to know his back story - but I know only so much can go into the movie without diminishing other parts of the story. Over all AWESOME!!
