Outstanding actors, great script, costuming, directing, etc. I could see this movie again and most likely will. It left me wanting the story to continue. The Brits should be proud that the Queen Mum's censorship of this story is no longer an issue. This is a story that should be heard everywhere. I wish there was a G-rated, school-appropriate version that could be shown in public schools. There are several great lessons to be learned here. I was pleased to see Helena Bonham Carter in a role that showed me a different side to her acting. Before this movie, my opinion of her skill was not that high. If there was one criticism I had, it was that the chemisty between the actors selected for the roles of Prince David and Wallace Simpson was not believable. They could have convinced us that there was more to their relationship than him being led around by the nose.

Wonderful film! Great photography. Too short for my likes but great length for kids. The release time is not exactly good. Kids are going back to school now. Too late for a summer vacation viewing and too early for a school field trip. There were only 4 people in the theater! Producers should rethink that for future films. I loved being able to see a NASA-related 3D IMAX film without going to a museum or vacation destination. Thanks!

Pay attention!

Just like Matrix and other films of the same genre, you really have to pay attention to every detail at the beginning to understand the ending. Great acting, great effects! Kept me attentive for the entire 2 1/2 hours but it was a little over my head. I had to discuss it with my husband afterward (LOL) and now I will want to buy the DVD so I can see it over and over. Then I can go back and catch what I missed at the beginning.

I haven't had this much FUN watching a movie in a long time. Yes, the plot was ridiculous. Yes, there were some obvious skips in the story line that made the plot even more ridiculous. Bottom line is that it kept me interested and laughing the entire time. This is not Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz at their professional best, but it is obvious they were having FUN! Go see it! Great date movie!

If you love musicals and dancing, then this is a MUST SEE movie. I was never a big ABBA fan, but this movie was just plain FUN! I want to see it again and again. I can't wait for the DVD!
