This movie will go down in history as a "new" trend in movies -- showing the dark side of "heroes". Expect the trend to continue. This movie will leave you speechless -- you could have heard a pin drop at the end of it from a record crowd. People really got sucked into it -- believing it was not really a movie -- but almost real. The dark side of this movie will affect you, young children should be harshly cautioned with attending because it will leave a mark. I remember the effects of Exorcist, it also started a new trend. Expect more movies shortly with Psych based dark side twists where you would not expect them. What has happened is the audience for movies like Saw are bored and so now movies are searching to "mess with" other theatre goers who would never see something like Saw. They are going to take a new audience of viewers to the dark side and God knows what will happen as they expect more -- might be the end of family movies where the good and bad is clearly defined. Sort of like why preachers listen to Howard Stern -- they hate him but listen anyway. In my opinion, this movie was a 6 star event, very believeable, and showed raw talent and execution from start to finish. Just be careful if you think this is just another positive hero movie -- it is going to take you on a trip you might not be prepared for. After 12 hours -- the movie is still with me.
