Dark and violent but good

It's kind of ironic how fitting the darkness of the Joker's character is to Heath Ledger's bizarre death. The movie is long, repetitive and violent but it actually was quite engaging and I ended up liking it. Not a kid's movie for sure. The make-up in the end for Dent's burned face is not at all realistic looking but the Joker's make-up is pretty amazing. It really was a pretty good movie although I only really went to it to see Heath Ledger for the last time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
