It is hard to compare this installment with the first two, but I will say that I thought Christian Bale was a convincing John Connor and the Sam Worthington character was well done and innovative. The story had just the right mix of technology, plot twists and accurate historical references, which is sometimes poorly done in movies that deal with time travel. A solid science fiction movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
