We enjoyed the movie, lots of action and Heath Ledger was unrecognizable as the Joker, but just nailed the part, playing a creepy psychopathic killer. He really is a creeper. I hope he gets at least an oscar nomination for it. Sadly, he did not live to see the critical acclaim he is receiving for his work. What a talent, and it is sad to think his life was cut short, and so tragically.
I would definitely not bring smaller children to see this, it is very intense, and disturbing at times. I was a little shocked to see 5 and 6 yr olds with their parents at this show. Mom and Dad, leave junior at home for this one. Just a bit too scary for little ones. Junior high or a very mature upper grade schooler would probably do okay, but if your kids are easily spooked, better to take them to Wall-E instead. A must see for adults and teens will love it.
