I literally was in shock every time I saw this movie (I've seen it three times now). It is absolutely amazing. The animation was outstanding.

I will never think of Heath Ledger the same way

The acting in this movie was incredible. Christian Bale makes a great Batman. I always like Gary Oldman. But Heath Ledger really stole the show for me. He didn't just get into character, he was the character. His performance was really breathtaking.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
