I came into The Dark Knight expecting powerful characters, mind-blowing action, and phenomenal acting. What we got was ten times that and more. For all that the story focused less on Bruce Wayne as a man, you could really feel the character's emotional struggle with the difference between hero and vigilante. Also, Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker is freakishly believable.
Even if you're not a fan of superheroes/Batman, you have to see this movie. Definitely 5 stars.
