I must say that I had high expectations going into this movie. You know the kind where you think, "They can't possibly deliver what I am imagining". Well I have to say that my expectations were blown away. I had my reservations about the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker (Come on you know you did to). But after he demonstrated how to make a pencil disappear I don't think I can view anyone else playing this part (This will make sense after viewing the movie). He really did own the part. Even more so than Bale as Batman. In the end I left the theater with a bitter sweat feeling. Heath is gone and with him the best villian I have ever seen on the big screen. Better than Darth, Terminator, Aliens, ect... I don't know that a 3rd movie can top this one, but I didn't think a sequel could top the first one either.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
