The Dark Knight was darkly realistic and intense. It showed the audience the true nature of people in chaotic situations created by a sociopath waging war on Gotham City. The audience believed in the characters and the duties, burdens or goals upon which the characters acted. The special effects from make-up, gadgets and gizmos to explosions and aerial stunts were well-done and orchestrated effortlessly. After the movie was over, I was glad to see the sunshine!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
