Which Joker?

I was a little confused when the movie began, what with all the Batman's, or Batmen? Anyway, it wasn't the mushy love story that I thought it was going to be (Superman), it was fast paced, energetic and a little suspenceful. Batman was pushed to his limits by a very maniacal Joker who always keeps his cool.
The million dollar question is, who plays a better Joker, Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger. That is really a tough question to answer and I'll tell you why. Jack Nicholson was the perfect Joker for Michael Keaton's Batman while Heath Ledger is the perfect Joker for Christian Bale's Batman. Nicholson's Joker was comical/maniacal and Ledger's Joker was maniacal/comical. (What a great disappearing pencil trick). I guess it's a matter of preference. (My vote goes to Mark Hamill).
Though I would recommend this movie I will say that the ending is very disappointing.
