I am a huuuuuge Batman fan and I really enjoyed this movie. I was entertained throughout but thought it needed something. 3/4s into the movie it tended to drag a bit. It seemed like they were rushing to tie up the loose ends, which there were many, all of a sudden. I still think Christian Bale tries to hard when he speaks as Batman but that may be my personal preference. Heath Ledger was good as the Joker. Not as psychotic as I would have liked to see but just enough to make him believable.
There were some action sequences but they tended to be watered down a bit compared with past Batman escapades.
