This is one of the best films I've seen in quite a while. I thought the hype about Heath Ledger's performance was because of his tragic death; not true. Jack Nicholson was a great Joker; Heath Ledger takes it to new heights. His performance even overshadows that of Christian Bale, who is by far my favorite Batman and one of my favorite actors. The whole movie has an entertainingly uneasy feel to it. Don't bring young children to see this movie! If you like dark movies, you'll love this one! The are no bad performances in this film. It's just a shame we can't see what Heath Ledger would do for an encore.
