Fans must be able to separate the books from the movies. This movie was exciting, funny, and heart-pounding, but left out many scenes from the book that were equally powerful and moving, as well as important to the plot. The scene in which Dumbledore's death took place, arguably the most powerful, showed Harry standing and watching and accepting Snape's request to be quiet, while in the book he was forced to witness it while under the invisibility cloak and unable to move. Are we to believe that Harry would indeed stand and watch his mentor and respected friend be killed without a fight? However, overall the movie was thouroughly enjoyable and I would recommend it to others.
The Dark Night was incredible, absolutely incredible. It was dark, unpredictable, and chock-filled with elements that left you on the edge of your seat, wide-eyed and shocked the entire movie. Heath Ledger was 100% perfect for the role of The Joker. I would go so far as to say he was the best villian pop culture has ever seen. I would recommend The Dark Knight to everyone over the age of 15.
