Not your father's Batman

This is one intense movie, with a masterful performance by an unrecognizable Heath Ledger as the Joker. Just saw this yesterday afternoon, 19 years after I went to see Tim Burton's Batman.
I was a little surprised at the ending. Not to spoil it but it seems a little impractical at this point. And, as excellent as it was, I'm sure 10 minutes or so could've been trimmed. Two and a half hours is just too much, even for this movie.
Still debating as to whether TDK or Iron Man is the best movie this year. They're both damn fine adaptations.
Any Batman fan, nee any movie fan should enjoy this one.
