The Dark Knight - Believe The Hype!

Lived up to my expectations. 15 minutes could have been trimmed to make it a little tighter but other than that I really do not see any major faults. Every time The Joker was on screen you felt this buzz in the audience as if we all were seeing one of the best performances in a superhero film ever. Some could make the argument one of the best performances in film, period. I could honestly say that in my opinion The Dark Knight is the best superhero/comic book adaptation ever shot on film. There will be a lot of people arguing about which was the better superhero movie this year, Iron Man of The Dark Knight. You can not compare the two because they are two completely different superhero movies. Iron Man is more comic book than realistic where The Dark Knight is definitely a more realistic comic movie. Let's just say they are both equally good but The Dark Knight has the edge. As much as the fanboy in me would love a sequel but why mess with greatness. It would be extremely hard to top this film unless The Joker made another appearance but unfortunately if he does make it into a sequel it will not be played by the best Joker to date, Heath Ledger. And I don't believe he should be replaced.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
