Maybe it is because I looked into this movie before it came out, but I knew it wasn't going to be a super scary horror flick. They didn't market it as that, they marketed it as a different kind of horror flick and that's what it was. Joss Whedon purposefully used bits of the typical horror movies in a spoof like fashion and it worked brilliantly. The comedy in it was unexpected and fantastic. The acting was great, and the idea in general was one of the few over all original that have come around this genre in a while. Yes, many movies before had elements of this one, but this took it a step further. It makes you laugh, freak out and keeps you interested the whole time because you're dying to figure out WTF is going on. It's great. Go entertain yourself, that is what this movie is for. Awesome. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because no horror movie gets 5 stars.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well, I think that the movie definatly lived up to my expectations. It was funny, had action, and an impossible plot that was a running joke which was really funny. Reason I didn't feel it deserved 5 starts was because while I found it funny, it wasn't hilllllllarious. I have seen the same Seth Rogan character a million times now and it gets real old. James Franco definatly held his own, and made about 90% of the funny of this movie. Very enjoyable and entertaining, which is what movies are really supposed to be anyways. Go see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I must start off with the bad. Well the only bad I should say, which is batman. Not Christian Bale playing batman or the suit or anything like that, just for the first batman movie without batman in its title, they really didn't show enough batman. The movie felt more about harvey dent and the joker than it did about the super hero in the movie saving gothem. Besides that, the movie was increadible. Heath Ledger is creepy, perfect, and took on the darker side of joker to match it with intelligence and still comical. Maggie G was better by far than katy h but still, that role doesn't really have much you can do with it. The grain, the sounds, the effects, and the lighting were pitch perfect for what it should have been. Totally give it a go see immediatly. It is not shattering records for no reason.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
