When I went to see The Dark Knight, I had very high expectations. I hate this because it usually sets me up for a huge letdown(i.e. Spiderman 3, Pirates 2 and 3) However, after seeing The Dark Knight I did not have this letdown. I was left fulfilled, not needing more. Yes it was a great script. Yes the directing was amazing. Yes the cinematography was fantastic. But what made this movie so great was the casting. Every character was played to perfection; and none better than Heath Ledger(RIP) as the Joker. He was able to play a villain that was so creepy and devastating, but at the same time you find yourself liking him. The subtle mannerisms that he had just made his character that much more real. This movie was wonderful and just when you think you were reaching the climax of the story line, they take it one step further. I could not have asked for more, and that's no joke.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
