I went to the sold out midnight showing of The Dark Knight and couldn't imagine a better way to spend 2hr and 30 mins. Batman has ALWAYS been my favorite super hero and Christian Bale has blown me away now twice. Aside from the fact that Christian Bale was amazing (which everyone already knew from the first) the action was incredible. My stomach was in a knot the entire time because they managed to keep every moment intense. Everyone was expecting the Joker to be insane, and he lives up to the expectations. The late Heath Ledger stole the movie. He truly embodied every creepy, comical and crazy tick that The Joker has. There are some unexpected twists that make the movie worth seeing. I'm planning on going again as soon as I can. It is without a doubt the best summer movie this year. Nothing will beat it.
