I believe the movie was worth the hype and I enjoyed every minute. My one issue with the movie was that Batman begins spent most of the time exploring Bruce Wayne. In the dark knight we do not see that character at all. Instead we see are shown that a vigilante will draw out "a better class of criminal" - the kind like joker who have no plans or purpose other than chaos and instability. This movie was about the villians more than the main character.
