I have seen a lot of movies this year of 2010. Some were good but a lot of them were all hype. Now I was hesitant to see The A Team because i was concerned with the actors who were cast for the various roles but when all was said and done THIS was a movie that was packed with a lot of PURE fun. It was the stuff that summer movies are made of. And i . . .like a lot of the other reviewers here, found myself recommending it to others.
In my opinion this was the Punisher movie that I and every fan have been waiting for. It had one of his classic rivals featured in it, it stayed true to the story of what happened to his family and it was riveted with die hard action and intense violence JUST as if the comic itself had come to life. I liked both portrayals in the past of Dolph Lundgren and Thomas Jane but neither was as solid a Ray Stevenson . . .he really surprised me! Its too bad that audiences did get out to see this action piece for what ever reason but it was excellent and I intend to see it again (this time with my whole family!)
This Movie was a change of pace from all of the heavy duty block busters that are coming out left and right. Rather than catering to a franchise name or the popular main stream . . .this movie opened its door to families. With an easy going villian that kids can deal with, instead of becoming frightened by, and a honsetly cute bunch of monkey heroes, even a parent can get their smile out of this delightful picture.
