Epic to a Fault

The movie was excellent with performances and script that were both excellent and of the highest caliber. Nolan and Bale should work together as often as possible if not simply make a marriage of their careers.
The only thing that the Dark Knight suffers from is a modern movie trend to make every film that is released into an epic. Epic stories are often well received by audiences, and I can understan their excitement regarding these films. The issue becomes that two and a half hours of a movie can be difficult to sit through for some, and although I enjoyed every minute, it would be difficult for me to justify watching the movie again. It would be a stretch to say that I won't see a third installment, but I am most certainly forced to go to a much earlier showing in order to keep my job.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
