Look past the title

I was shocked to see there were only 5 people in the theater today and I have a feeling the title of the movie, mixed with Mel Gibson's bad rep have a lot to do with that. I am asking you to look past this. The movie at times a little over the top with the beaver puppet premise BUT the plot is strong, and raw and relate-able. The older sons role is phenomenal and the heart of this movie. Please go see it!

I didn't expect to like this movie but went because i will not miss an M. Night movie and I have a friend who worked on the movie and I LOVED IT! Cannot wait for part 2!!

This movie has a lot of hype, but guess what people, it actually delivers. And we are talking almost 3 hours w. previews and there wasn't a moment were it was slow. Heath Ledgers delivery of the joker is brilliant and heart breaking. Although this isn't your typical Academy Award nominated movie his performance should not be over looked. If I had to say one thing negative it would be that Maggie Gyllenhaal does not make a good femme fatal...it's not that she’s ugly but she's not very likable. Other than that FIVE STARS!
