Best Twilight So Far!

This was an awesome movie! I have not loved the other movies, because they were missing too much compared to the books. This one was as close to the first part of Breaking Dawn as time would allow. It was awesome! The acting was good the special effects were great and the story was sweet. And you've never read the books or seen any of the other movies, this one is pretty much stand alone.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Don't Expect it to Be Just Like the Book

I really enjoyed this movie, and I totally expected to hate it. I love the books and had a real hard time with the previews, because it was obvious that it didn't line up with the book. But, I went to see it anyway and I'm glad I did. It was an excellent movie. They added some things to make some of the scenes more dramatic and - of course - cut some things out and blended other things together to make the movie flow. I actually thought this movie was closer to the book than the first. It did not disappoint. The acting was excellent and the special effects were really good (they did a good job with the wolves!). I would have loved for the movie to be longer, but you can't have everything. :)

This Was Awesome!!

This was one of the best Star Trek movies I have seen in a long, long time. They were ingenious on how they handled the old, familiar characters, but put a new twist on everything. If you are a Trekkie, you may be disappointed on how the story line doesn't flow with what you know of the "old" Star Trek....but they explain it all and leave it wide open for more movies....and I will watch them ALL! They have to keep the same actors, though....what great jobs they all did! I was so thrilled with this movie, because I was prepared to be disappointed. It was great!

Ricky Gervais is Hillarious!

This movie was very well done. All of the actors were top notch and in excellent form. The tone was very understated and the humor very dry. It was done so well and the lines delivered so effortlessly that we were laughing before we realized it and probably missed half the jokes! It's one of "those" movies where you'll have to see it two or three times just to catch all of the dialogue. It was very smart and witty and had a sweet touch to it. I love Greg Kinnear, but Ricky Gervais stole the show on this one! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

The Dark Knight Delivers!

The acting and directing in this movie were absolutley spectacular (Ledger will get a posthumos Oscar!). The characters were very well developed, the story line was fleshed out and followed through and the special effects were unbelievable. This movie was much-hyped.....and it did not disappoint. I've seen cautions against younger children seeing the movie, but I don't necessarily agree. I don't remember seeing any blood and the deaths of people were not actually shown. There was very little cussing and nothing major. The movie might be considered boring by some of the much younger children who need constant action to keep their attention, but I did not see any reason that a young Batman fan could not attend and thoroughly enjoy it.
