Were Heath Ledger still alive, this movie would change his career forever. Just as "The Matrix" took Keanu Reeves from a character in "Speed" to "Neo", Heath BECOMES "The Joker". He's not just a psychopath here... yes, he's crazy, but for some reason, you can understand him and "sympathize". Strange, but I'll be seeing this one a few more times and buying the deluxe edition of the DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
