The casting and acting in this movie is superb. Nick Nolte - spot on good. It is about MMA and UCF but it's more. A movie that is not only exciting, moving and compelling from the beginning to end, but one that touches a certain place in the heart when there is a family enstrangement that begins to resolve itself through the couse of the movie. The fight scenes are not bloody and over the top but well choreographed and very believeable. This is the new ROCKY of the 2000's and just a very good and enertaining movie. Go see it and maybe more than once !
Yes, I recommend this movie.

SURREAL, INCREDIBLE and STUNING

This is a visually stunning movie. Cameron does a crafty job of spendng the first 30 minutes or so with character and plot setting so we know the "what's going on" and "Who are the players".
NOW... HANG ON .... because the adventure begins and is full force in your face. Pandora is an incredible planet and the people, creatures and "Living-Iinterconnected Planet" are amazing. AMAZING AMAZING - NO JOKE. AMAZING.
The CG work is incredible but Cameron's new filming technique (especially in 3D) will change the way CG is done for some time to come. It's just INCREDIBLY lifelike. I will see this many more times before it leaves the theaters. Bobby Moe
