The Standard for Superhero Movies

The bar for superhero movies has been set. This movie is Christopher Nolan's masterpiece. The Dark Knight is not just eye candy, this movie is deep, dark, and complex. I've already seen this movie twice just so I could listen to the dialogue for a second time. I've been a Batman fan since I was a kid (Batman: The Animated Series) and this Batman movie series is the way the story was meant to be told. See it, heck see it twice just to experience it on the big screen. It is very violent, so children under the age of 12 should not be allowed to see it. While Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker is spot on, it is too scary and uncompromising for young children. I'm trying to be unbiased when I say this, but as far as I'm concerned this is the best movie of the year.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
