I am a BIG fan of the 1951 Disney version of Alice and Wonderland so I was concerned that I might not like this darker, Burton-style film because of that. Burton did an excellent job staying true to the original aspect of the '51 Disney film (and 1800s book) while creating plenty of spice of his own. In the end he brings an amazingly tangible feel to Wonderland. This movie is excellent for its incredible special effects and the characters/story line. It is a must see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
