IMAX experience?

I went to the IMAX theater expecting something extra, after all it came at an extra price. I was disappointed though because I couldn't tell I was watching an IMAX film at all. Unless there is a 3D option, I say just save your money and stick with the regular experience.
As far as the movie goes, I've always loved Batman beyond all comic book heroes because he is an ordinary man with only the special power of money and discipline to his name. I feel that that gives more that having a special power. The actors were great. Bale is handsome as ever and really gives the character suave, even though I still don't know how he gets his voice to sound like that. Ledger was unrecognizable as the joker, it was that much of a transformation. He looked and sounded so different. As a villain though, he didn't seem that intimidating to me though. I am also use to seeing Batman wrestle with multiple plots and villains, which has not really been occuring with these recent additions.
I would like to see anothe Batman come out, but I sure hope they use a different villain then the ones already used in the other movies. The technology was extremely impressive and futuristic. I am of course envious of the money and power batman weilds. I felt that the ending was a bit anti-climatic and felt that it could have been handled differently.
