Complex and Challenging

I really loved the pacing and style of this movie. It think that some people will feel a bit deflated (like my son who raved frantically about the movie as if it could cure cancer....only to feel not quite so impressed at the end) because they "over hyped" the movie in their own mind.
Make no mistake, this movie was phenomenal and should be considered as such. It didn't give the viewer the satisfaction of bringing all of the plot variables to a swift conclusion. Not unlike "Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers", this movie was proof that it is always "darkest" before the dawn.
The next movie might bring some much anticipated closure to the problems of Gotham, but it will in no way minimize the need for this picture. In short, I loved it and would recommend it to any true Batman Fan. Grab hold of your seat it is going to be a bumpy ride.
