Ledger Is Legendary

I am a huge fan of Chris Nolan's film version of Batman. This is exactly how Batman is supposed to be portrayed: dark, gritty, urban, and violent. Every actor in The Dark Night seemed to realize that they were working on a very special film; they all brought their A-Game. Even the minor characters, such as Detective Rodriguez, were stellar.
Of course, Heath Ledger as The Joker is unparalleled. He plays Joker as one of the scariest villains in American cinema history. Christian Bale as the Batman was equally great as was Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent. I foresee this film winning scads of Oscars next year. Needless to say, I highly recommend this film to anyone interested in not only riviting acction but also a tightly-constructed and well-actd storyline.
