The kids today are lucky. Thier movies blow ours away as far as effects, acting, story, writing and content. Movies like AvP were somewhat disappointing, but compared to the hokey stuff we used to endure? Even looking at the effects in the first Matrix movie and I realize they were not that sofisticated.
The Dark Knight is the culmination of that. Except for Christian Bale's choice to stick with the voice he gives Batman, it's perfect. Great story, one of the best supporting (lead?) performances I've seen in my life from Heath Ledger and awesome visuals. Defintely a must repeat see and Blu-Ray PURCHASE when it comes out. Go see it.
AMPAS take notice, this film is OSCAR WORTHY. Ignore the fact it is a comic book movie, Heath Ledger should get and Oscar and the writers should be at least nominated.
