A really wonderful experience. Notwithstanding the movie is 90 years old (!!!) the story is timeless and the antics are hilariously funny!
There were teenagers in the theater in stitches! No fancy thrills, just good old acting.
I would see it again in a heartbeat!

Colin Firth delivers.....

What a terrific film! Colin Firth is absolutely spectacular in this film! This is, by any account, an extremely difficult role and he shines. Kudos to Guy Pearce who also performs brilliantly. The setting, the direction, the quality of the filming complete this must-see movie.

Wonderful movie, wonderful cast. A great feel-good movie. I was unconvinced by a movie version of a musical, but curiosity (and the casting of Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth and, of course, Meryl Streep) got the best of me. Am I ever glad I went! I hadn't seen a movie that made me feel so good in a very long time. The music is awesome (not all of it greatly sung, but....). I will today go shopping for old ABBA albums! This is a must-see movie for anyone over 35!

Certainly not a GREAT movie, but very adequate for summer fun. Agreeable characters, funny episodes and easy watching.
