If you have been blind and deaf for the last week then you have missed all the other rave reviews about this movie. Fact is, whenever a celebrity dies, critics from all over praise whatever last movie they were on as a monumental feat. In most cases they are very, very wrong. However - I was blown away by this movie. It had substance and timing and could easily win awards for the departed Mr. Ledger. Great visuals, great story, great scenes and vivid detail give any modern movie a run for their money. Even if you don't like superhero movies (which I am usually in that group as well) - you have to see it. The "pencil scene" is worth paying for by itself. . . and that happens about 10 minutes into the movie. I was hooked from then on!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
