I had a mother/daughter day with my 11-year old daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I just appreciated being able to enjoy a movie without having to leave in the middle of it because of inappropriate content supposedly fit for a 13-year old. My daughter enjoyed the action & special effects. It's certainly not a blockbuster, but it held our attention and we both enjoyed it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It was ok...

I personally enjoyed the movie. Of course, I attended the movie primarily for my children, ages 2, 5, & 10. This was certainly NOT a movie for my 2-year old. My 5-year old enjoyed most of the movie, but became restless during some parts. My 10-year old wasn't very interested - I'd have to say 1) she's a girl; 2) she doesn't think she's 10!
